48 hours, one founder, one shipped product
When Leo set out to validate an idea for a scheduling tool, he gave himself one weekend to go from a blank canvas to something real users could try. This is the log of how it happened.
Friday night: modeling the data
The first few hours went into sketching the data model — bookings, availability, and customers — directly in Craftbase's visual editor. Within an hour, a working API was already live, ready to be called from a frontend that didn't exist yet.
Saturday: building the product
With the backend already generated, Saturday was spent entirely on the frontend and business logic — booking rules, reminder emails triggered through Automations, and a simple dashboard for viewing upcoming appointments.
I didn't write a single line of backend code, and by Saturday night I had a real product with real data behind it.
Sunday: shipping it
The final day was polish and deployment. One click pushed the app to a global edge network, complete with a custom domain and SSL, ready for the first users on Monday morning.
